Magma Lathes
Magma Lathes are high quality lathes aimed at the woodturner who seeks a high degree of performance from his lathe. They are made in the EU and feature high quality cast iron headstocks and tailstocks as standard.
These lathes are heavy and stable with the smaller model, the Magma 1S, having a massive milled steel bed whilst its bigger brothers, the Magma 2 & Magma 2Plus, have face-milled cast iron lathe beds and tool rest saddles.
The Magma 1S is supplied with legs that can be filled with sand or other ballast to give added weight and stability. The Magma 2 & Magma 2P are supplied with A frame legs.
Quick release mechanisms make everything easy to operate.
Swivelling headstocks for all 3 models with the additional feature of pre-set angles on the Magma 2 & Magma 2P.
A manual, adjusting spanner, lock out and knock out bar are supplied with the lathes.
